Growing up in the 70s, I remember watching my mom bake everything from scratch. The sound of her ring tapping the metal pan as she 'greased and floured' to prevent from sticking. My dad was born into a family-owned business of restaurants, catering and hotels. Sunday dinner was always followed by dessert and coffee. I remember sitting around the table with the adults and realizing how special these moments were. Food brought everyone together.  As an adult, I continued the tradition for my family. It always brings me joy to prepare a meal and dessert for the people in my life...it's my love language. Buttercup Bakehouse was named after 'buttercup' spiritual meaning "joy, inner-child, youth".  We hope you will tap into those moments as you enjoy our favorite traditions!
